Good book for young peopleReviewed by Mitchell Ito, 2010-01-22
I purchased this for my elementary school aged children and they loved it. Fun stories about discovery and invention. I always pushed my kids to be 100% perfect all of the time, but now they come back and let me know that mistakes are important too (just not on tests!).
Great book for learning to take risks in scienceReviewed by Sharon Solberg, 2009-11-10
I have used this book with third graders as they learn to hypothesize. Not wanting to make mistakes, they will change their hypothesis or make it "fuzzy" enough that it is safely generalized. This book shows great examples of people who made mistakes in their "hypothesis" and profited (chocolate chip cookies!).
Great Trivia Book!!Reviewed by Mary Werner, 2009-08-04
I have enjoyed this book for years, and decided to buy several copies as Teacher gifts. They loved them!!
Stocking StufferReviewed by C. Goode, 2007-12-26
I gave it as a gift for Christmas, but looked through it briefly. It looked pretty interesting.
Memory exerciserReviewed by Carla A. Viator, 2007-10-12
Another good exercise with my 84 year old dad who is losing his memory. He reads a loud "A Mistake". We talk about when he first noticed or experienced the "Mistake" and then we try to do something fun. Example: Popcycles. After we eat popcycles and thank the guy for the "Mistake". This is a great exercise.
